Once in a while,
a very special guitar
becomes available.
Recently, Carlos Barbosa-Lima was visiting me in my northern California shop. He started playing a guitar I was just finishing up, and just completely fell in love with it. He liked it so much he decided to trade in the Prenkert guitar he has been playing for nine years. This beautiful guitar is now available for purchase.
This fine instrument has been around the world more than once, having been used by Carlos for concert play from 2001 through 2009. Carlos also used this guitar on recordings such as the "Carioca" CD. As you can see in the photographs, the top is Western Red Cedar and the back is Indian Rosewood. This guitar is in excellent condition and produces an outstanding sound.
